Where are you located?

 

We are located at 1050 Paramount Drive in Stoney Creek, Ontario.  We are on the second floor in the UFA Ving Tsun Centre.  The enterance is right by the day care.

 

What are the class times?

 

All regular classes are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8:00 to 9:30 PM.  All other workshops and seminars will be announced here.  Private lessons are also available to be negotiated with an instructor.

 

Who can join?

 

Anybody over the age of 14 can join.  Childrens classes are not available with our club.

 

Do I need experience?

 

No experience is necessary.  We welcome all fitness and skill levels.  The best way to gain experience in JKD is to come on in and start training with us!

 

Is this for me?

 

Only you can answer that.  We get this question a lot.  Everybody trains for different reasons.  Some to get fit, some for self defense, and others to become an instructor or any number of other reasons.  To be sure whether or not this is for you, we offer a week long, no obligation, free trial.  We think you'll like it.

 

Who is teaching/what are your qualifications?

 

We have multiple instructors, certified in the Hardcore JKD curriculum.  That curriculum was put together by Sifu Lamar Davis, who himself is certified by 5 of Bruce Lee's original students.  All the instructors have multiple years experience in the art, two of them with over 20 years.

 

How much does it cost?

 

The regular monthly dues are $100 per month.  There is no sign up, or initiation fee.  Just a straight month to month fee.  There are discounts for paying multiple months at a time.  We also offer single class rates.

 

What do I wear?

 

We wear loose comfortable workout clothes to train.  No uniform is required, but shirts are available for purchase.  We also wear athletic shoes while we train.  A lot of arts train barefoot, but since this art is based on street fighting, shoes are required.
